Our Hands-On Video Review of Cordoba's Coco-Themed Guitar

In Pixar's latest film, Coco, Miguel sneaks into the mausoleum of the most famous musician in all of Mexico (his Great-Great-Grandfather) and strums Ernesto de la Cruz's guitar. This pivotal moment of the film paired with Miguel's passion for music makes the fact that Cordoba created a real-life Coco-inspired guitar (for people of all ages to play) even more exciting.

There are three versions of the Coco x Cordoba guitar series for sale — the mini spruce, mini mahogany, and 7/8-scale spruce. We were thrilled to be able to test all versions (although we were able to fully test and review the mini spruce version at length). For fans of the film, you may have seen that Cordoba also recreated Ernesto's famed skull guitar — unfortunately, there was only a hand full of the replica guitars made and from what we've been told they most likely will not be offered for sale to the general public.
