The Walt Disney Family Museum will hold their third annual fundraising gala on November 7, 2017, honoring Chief Creative Officer of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, John Lasseter with the Diane Disney Miller Lifetime Achievement Award. Previous honorees who have made an outstanding impact in the field of arts, education, community involvement and technological advancements include songwriter Richard Sherman and Imagineering Ambassador Marty Skylar.
The Walt Disney Family Museum noted that John Lasseter will receive recognition due to his incredible contributions to the entertainment industry and for his extraordinary leadership and innovative storytelling, which has been instrumental in elevating and distinguishing the world of animation - and we couldn't agree more.
The third annual gala will take place at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio of San Francisco with attendance limited to just 180 guests. For information regarding seat and table sponsorship, please contact The Walt Disney Family Museum at (415) 345-6818 or gala@wdfmuseum.org.
This event is sure to be an unbelievable night filled with laughs, tears and amazing stories to be told.
