If there's one thing that we've learned while talking about and studying Pixar films, it's that seeking out easter eggs is equally as entertaining as the film itself. Fans of the studio are acutely aware that the artists at Pixar are masters at hiding secret items/references from upcoming and past films, the Luxo ball, Pizza Planet Truck and A-113 (just to name a few). With the theatrical release of Finding Dory quickly approaching we have been excited to spot a few easter eggs within the trailer and teaser spots, however, during a recent visit to our local Disney Store we found the famed A-113.
Hidden on the plush of the sea lion duo, Fluke and Rudder, you'll notice the Marine Life Institute tags on their flippers have "A1" (Rudder) and "13" (Fluke). The easter egg is also clearly marked on an adult shirt featuring the sea lions as well.
