“The Disney Legend Award is our highest and most coveted honor,” said Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger.
The award recipients receive a handcrafted bronze statuette created by artist Andrea Favilli which shows Mickey Mouse's arm holding a star-tipped wand - the honorees are also presented with a bronze plaque. This year there are many true Disney Legends being honored including three with Pixar connections.

We can also start our applause as Billy Crystal and John Goodman are also being honored with The Disney Legend Award. An award that is truly fitting for these two incredible actors after the release of Monsters University. Not only have the duo found success voicing our beloved Pixar monsters but have been perfecting their craft and entertaining audiences for many years.
