As the world continues to self-quarantine and movie theaters are still officially closed with an unknown date of when they will re-open, it was inevitable that Pixar's upcoming film Soul would receive a new release date. The film was initially slated to hit theaters on June 19, and Pixar confirmed today that the film will now be released on November 20, 2020.
Many fans (including ourselves) have been speculating on when we'd hear the news of Disney and Pixar's decision to bump the release date as we did not expect the film to be released for in-home digital viewing. What we are wondering, is will this bump future Disney and Pixar films that were already slated to be released on or around this timeframe. What do you think?
