New 'Onward' Character Posters, Additional Vocal Cast Revealed and a New Trailer to be Released on December 17!

The new year is almost upon us, which means the wait for Pixar's upcoming film, Onward is rapidly nearing its March 6, 2020 theatrical release date. Today, the official D23 Twitter account released a series of four Onward character posters highlighting their personality traits, as well as featuring a few new characters dressed in New Mushroomton Police Department uniforms.

In addition to the new character posters, it was revealed that Ali Wong, Lena Waithe, and Mel Rodriguez would join the vocal cast of Onward — voicing the Police trio (as shown in the character poster below). While the announcement of the new vocal cast has hit the internet, we can't help but wonder if the new trailer that is set to be released tomorrow (December 17) will feature the new police trio — and given the comedic background of each of them, we cannot wait to see the hilarity of these characters unfold.
